Signal Hill

Signal Hill is a relatively large community situated on the western edge of Calgary.

With its neighbourhood schools, city & mountain views and proximity to shopping and recreation, real estate, Signal Hill is always in high demand. The West LRT is right on its doorstep, so commuting to downtown from Signal Hill has never been easier.

Signal Hill is home to Battalion Park, a famous Calgary landmark with large numbers that are visible from the side of the Hill. Battalion Park, on the southern slopes of the hill overlooks the major Westhills and Signal Hill shopping centres. The large numbers formed by rocks on the slope are the unit numbers of the battalions that trained at the bottom of the hill during the World War I. Although not in the original location, they are the same rocks, maintained by local military cadets.
